MCMHCA Fall Conference- Compassion Fatigue |

MCMHCA is proud to announce that they will be having their annual Fall Conference at Fairmont Hot Springs Resort and will be hosting internationally renowned speaker, author and workshop presenter KARL LAROWE, MA, LCSW. Karl will give a two day workshop on Compassion Fatique- The Physical, Mental and Emotional exhaustion that often accompanies caring for others. Karl will be discussing his study of the ancient Chinese martial art of Qigong and how this developed into his concept of "Flow Motion", a series of mindful movements and visualizations inspired by Qigong. "Flow Motion" allows Karl and hundreds of helping professionals that he has worked with to overcome the depression that often comes with empathic contact with others. Karl has authored a book called Breath of Relief which is an illustrated guide offering a thorough examination of the causes, symptoms and cures for Compassion Fatigue.
So, if you struggle with the daily stress that comes with working with clients, this is the workshop that can help you take care of yourself.
